Four markets, one download format
Compare markets using the same price columns in every download. Available history varies by instrument. Select Show chart to see data for your chosen period.
US stocks
Historical OHLCV bars for US-listed equities by ticker. Prices are as-traded, not adjusted for splits or dividends.
Forex
Currency pairs such as EURUSD and GBPUSD. Per-bar volume is a tick count where the source reports one.
Commodities & metals
Metals, energy, and industrials, including gold (XAUUSD), silver, and WTI crude (USOUSD).
Crypto
Crypto pairs quoted in USD or EUR, such as BTCUSD and BTCEUR. Available history varies by pair and interval.
Without an account
Preview a chart and download CSV or Excel for the latest 24 hours. Choose 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, or 1-hour intervals, with up to 300 completed bars. All times are in UTC.
With your account
Sign in and connect your key for longer history and more intervals, within your plan. Loading data uses your API request allowance. Downloads use the data already loaded.
Ready for your spreadsheet
Open a CSV in your preferred analysis tool, or download an Excel workbook with your prices and dataset details in separate sheets.
Data sheet
One row per bar with a UTC timestamp, open, high, low, close, and volume. Exports use the values returned by the API. Unavailable volume is left blank.
Metadata sheet
Check the instrument, currency, interval, and time period behind your data. The sheet also notes incomplete results and available price and volume details. Missing source details are marked Unknown.

Limitations
- Without an account, downloads cover only the latest 24 hours. For longer history, sign in and connect your API key.
- Prices are historical bars, not live quotes.
- Closed markets and periods with no trades may return no data. Earlier sessions are not added to fill the gap.
- Large results may be limited to what your browser can process. Incomplete results are labelled partial. Choose a shorter period to reduce the size.
Common questions
Do I need an account to use it?
No. You can preview completed bars from the latest 24 hours for one instrument and download them as CSV or Excel without an account. For longer history, sign in or create an account, then connect your API key. Available history and your plan's limits apply.
What can I download without an account?
The latest 24 hours of completed bars in 5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, or 1-hour intervals, up to 300 bars. All times are shown in UTC.
Can I download crypto prices in EUR?
For pairs such as BTCEUR, sign in and connect your API key. Prices stay in the pair's quote currency, and available history depends on the pair and period. The crypto preview without an account currently covers USD pairs.
What is included in the Excel download?
The .xlsx workbook has a Data sheet for your prices and a Metadata sheet with the instrument, time period, and available source details. For direct worksheet imports, see the SiftingIO Excel add-in setup guide linked below.
How is the downloaded file structured?
Each row contains a UTC timestamp, open, high, low, close, and volume. A timestamp in milliseconds is also included. Volume is left blank when it is unavailable.
What happens on weekends or when a market is closed?
You will see a no-data message if there are no bars in your selected period. Without an account, the download window stays within the latest 24 hours. Earlier sessions are not added to fill the gap.
Where does my API key go?
Your key is kept only while this page is open and is never included in a download. Refreshing or reopening the page clears it, so you will need to connect it again.
